Another photograph from last week, I had a coffee my very old friend Marine and my very new friend Isadora last thursday morning, right after they came back from the homeland, we enjoyed a long walk and I snapped a picture when I was time to say goodbye.
I am leaving for a road trip in the dirty south and i will be back on August 17th.Don’t call me unless you got a check with at least three zeros!
I entered Jen Bekman’s hot shot competition this year and I was really happy to see my work reviewedon their blog, here. I will be crossing fingers until November 3oth

This morning, in Paris, my mum Anne is going on a heavy open-heart surgery, unfortunately I couldn’t fly out there to be with her, and since i got up, i feel a terrible sadness to be so far while I know her so vulnerable.
She has always refused to pose for me, but she came to visit me last year and i managed to snap a picture. It is not a really good one in a photographic sense, just a piece of my visual memory that i wanted to have with me here in NY, just her look towards me.
There are certain things that are quintessential to New York: Graffiti, concrete, bad deli coffee…trash.
For me Meg and Nick are one of the quintessial NY couples- They have the ability to revive those legendary bohemian days of NYC in the 80’s. Creative and effortlessly cool, every time hanging out with them at their gipsy lovenest in south williamsburg is a crazy adventure.
I am cruising in New Mexico and will be back next week. I shot film mainly so i can’t post anything serious yet… But you really do get your kicks on route 66, check this funny ad i saw last night.
